Police arrest man for assaulting woman in hallway of SE DC apartment complex, pointing gun at her

WASHINGTON — A man is under arrest after police say he assaulted a woman inside the hallway of a Southeast, D.C. apartment complex and pointed a gun at her before running away. Detectives say the woman and man were known to each other.

Antonio Johnson, of Southeast, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon for his alleged involvement. 

On Friday, April 5, just after 3:30 p.m., police say the woman was in the hallway of an apartment complex on Naylor Road when Johnson approached her. He allegedly physically assaulted her, and pointed a gun at her before running away.
