2 Prince George's Co. Planet Fitness locations received bomb threats over the weekend

Police said the perpetrator has not been identified.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — According to police, two Prince George's County Planet Fitness locations received bomb threats over the weekend.

Around 6:18 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the gyms at 14431 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge and 12627 Galveston Ct. in Manassas.

Both bomb threats were received via email. Businesses and nearby shopping centers were evacuated out of precaution.

No bomb was located at either location, resulting in no active threat to businesses. Police said the perpetrator has not been identified.

The threats may be connected to a viral video being shared on TikTok. WUSA9 has reached out to Planet Fitness for comment.
