PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A Virginia State Trooper made a special delivery on Tuesday.
In Prince William County, shortly after 6 a.m., Virginia State Police responded to a medical emergency on the shoulder of I-66. A woman had gone into labor.
As the Trooper arrived, so did baby Audrey.
Virginia State Police tweeted that Mom, Mad, and Audrey were all safe and sound. They attached a picture of Audrey, in a deep slumber with her first teddy courtesy of the Virginia State Police Department.
Giving birth on the side of the road may be unconventional, but it’s not uncommon. In April 2023, WUSA9 reported on a baby girl born on the shoulder along I-270 in Germantown.
