WASHINGTON — DC police are investigating a shooting on Friday that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man from Northwest.
Around 3:50 p.m. police said they responded to the 100 block of Harry Thomas Way for a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim, 20-year-old Matthew Washington, suffering from a gunshot wound.
D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services said Washington was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
