(Hollywood, CA – April 26, 2016) – In a DR. PHIL exclusive, Nick Gordon, the former boyfriend of legendary singer Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, returns to the show and sits down one-on-one with Dr. Phil for a powerful and explosive interview. The two-part episode airs Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29, 4-5 p.m. on WUSA9.

Gordon, who Bobbi Kristina often referred to as her husband even though they were not legally married, was one of the last people with her on the night before she was found clinging to life in her bathtub in January 2015. A few months later, Dr. Phil sat down with Gordon in what turned into an emotional, unpredictable intervention that made national headlines and ended with Gordon going to rehab. Bobbi Kristina has since passed away and her conservator has filed a $10 million dollar civil lawsuit against Gordon claiming he is responsible for her death. Now, Dr. Phil gives Gordon a chance to set the record straight about his former life with Whitney and Bobbi Kristina.

In part one, airing Thursday, April 28, Gordon reveals secrets about Whitney, who he refers to throughout the interview as “Nippy,” and Bobbi Kristina’s troubled private life. Gordon details his involvement the night Whitney died at the Beverly Hilton and how Bobbi Kristina reacted when he told her that her mother was dead. Also, find out what he has to say about Bobbi Kristina’s tragic downward spiral after Whitney’s death.

In part two, airing Friday, April 29, Gordon finally answers questions about Bobbi Kristina’s final moments the night before she went into a coma and addresses accusations that he murdered her. He also reveals details about the argument he says he and Bobbi Kristina had that fateful night and talks about the pending $10 million dollar civil lawsuit against him.

Select quotes from the episodes:

“How does that happen to one person and then happen the second time? It was just so similar. All the sirens and all that stuff. It was horrible.”
- Nick Gordon on seeing Bobbi Kristina Brown unresponsive in her bathtub just like he saw Whitney Houston a few years earlier

“If you were her family, stand in their shoes for a minute, can you understand how they might look at you as an evil doer?”
- Dr. Phil to Nick Gordon

“Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney’s last few years on earth as happy as they would be. I gave them somebody to trust, to talk to, to be there, someone genuine.”
- Nick Gordon in response to Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family accusing him of being a bad influence

“If you were her husband, and you were her protector, and you were all she had and all she cared about, and she was going down drug highway, in retrospect did you fail her?”
- Dr. Phil to Nick Gordon about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s downward spiral following Whitney Houston’s death

“[Bobby] hurt his own daughter, not me. I was the one there for her while she was dealing with him not being there. He’s not a reasonable person so I’m not planning on talking to him and I really don’t want to.”
- Nick Gordon on Bobby Brown
