NCIS: New Orleans' 100th episode is set to air Tuesday night at 10PM.

The investigative crime drama stars Scott Bakula who describes this moment as an incredible milestone.

"I've never made it to 100 before. "Quantum Leap" was 97 and "Star Trek: Enterprise" was 98, so I finally got there," said Bakula.

New Orleans has an undeniably rich history of music which Bakula enjoys bringing to the show. As a musician, the Golden Globe winner appreciates the moments he is given to interact with guest performers.

"Most of my favorite moments have to do with being around the musicians that come and play with them. Often times I get to play with them and that's just kind of a remarkable thing," Bakula said.

Previous musical guest stars included: Sheryl Crow, Jimmy Buffett and Maren Morris.

Best known for his role in "Quantum Leap," the Emmy-nominee's television credits don't stop there. Bakula has played recurring roles in HBO's "Looking", "Desperate Housewives," in addition to "Romance/Romance" for which he was nominated a Tony Award.
