1. Perry's Restaurant

Named for a U.S. Admiral that helped open Japan to the West in 1854, this Japanese eatery has been an Adams Morgan staple for over three decades. Enjoy a rooftop happy hour 7 days a week, and don't miss the super popular Sunday drag brunch. So far, we've totally fallen in love with the "okonomiyaki", which is like a Japanese pizza. 2. POV Rooftop at the W Hotel

Cross the party line as you step into the Beaux Arts grandeur and cutting edge design of W Washington DC. Stay glamorous in one of the 317 elevated guest rooms that blend historical detail with high fashion. POV Rooftop Lounge and Terrance is infamous in DC for it's exceptional service and it's even more amazing views. Overlooking the White House and national monuments, Executive Chef Barry Koslow made the best-selling Togarashi Salmon Salad (make it here!)

3. DNV Rooftop

DNV Rooftop offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12-4pm with beautiful al fresco views overlooking Thomas Circle. With an expansive new menu for weekend dining, DNV is hosting a ton of amazing summer party events. Yo Matsuzaki, Executive Chef at DNV Rooftop tried out his popular shrimp and grits brunch breakfast in the Great Day Kitchen and you can make it here!

4. The New Bridge Wine Bar & Restaurant

You might not know The New Bridge Restaurant as it recent changed names, but located in beautiful Old Town Warrenton, Virginia this impressive dining experience has an impressive menu, tons of wine featured events and a roof-top patio dining area, where they grow herbs, edible flowers and greens for use in the kitchen and specialty cocktails. Also if you have a hankering for some chicken, Executive Chef Ivan Melson made a Peruvian chicken dish to die for. Try out the recipe here.
