WASHINGTON — Randi Ayala is a reporter for Get Up DC. She’s thrilled to be back in the DMV.
A native Prince Georgian, Randi is no stranger to WUSA9. She interned at the station while in college and worked as a production assistant on the morning show after graduating.
Randi comes to WUSA9 after serving as the morning anchor at WNCN in Raleigh, NC for three years. Before that she worked as a multimedia journalist for KTVE/KARD in Monroe, Louisiana.
Randi is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s Richard T. Robertson School of Media and Culture. During her undergrad years, she served as reporter and anchor for VCU’s monthly newscast Insight that aired on PBS Richmond.
