The kids at Georgetown University Hospital were in for a treat Monday afternoon.

The Washington Capitals would be visiting and sharing their time with the children at the hospital.

The visit was part of the NHL’s “The Biggest Assist Happens off the Ice” program.

While visiting with patients, players passed out blankets, posters, rally towels, and Capitals Kids Club kits that were provided by Capitals fans through the team’s Kids Club kit donation program.

What the Capitals did for these kids will be a memory they will cherish forever.
