WASHINGTON -- DC police confirmed a body has been found at the Rock Creek Golf Course on Tuesday.
Police said the call came in just before 3:30 p.m.
Metro PD said the body of an adult male was found in a "swampy" area of the park. They said it is strictly a death investigation and is not being investigated as a homicide.
Normally the US Park Police responds to incidents in Rock Creek Park, but when there is a death, MPD handles those cases, officials said.
The incident is still under investigation.
