UPDATE: Police ID victim in Frederick fatal shooting

Police are looking for two suspects who fled on foot. They are described as black males in their 20s, dressed in black clothing.

FREDERICK, MD (WUSA9) — Police have identified the victim in Sunday morning's fatal shooting in Frederick.

On Sunday, police responded to a call for a shooting around 12:55 a.m. on the 400 block of West South Street, said Frederick City Police.

When officers arrived, they found 45-year-old David Germaine Wilson suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Wilson was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Police are looking for two suspects who fled on foot. They are described as black males in their 20s, dressed in black clothing.
