No injuries were reported. For safety reasons, the entire apartment complex has been evacuated.

Officials say there are 17 addresses and upwards of 300 residents displaced.

If you are a displaced resident, please report to Suitland High School at 5200 Silver Hill Road.

The partial collapse happened during dangerous wind gusts on Friday.

Officials say the cause of the collapse appears to be a strong wind gust that lifted flat roofs of several buildings and pressurized the interior. This caused the walls to bow outward and eventually collapse out.
