Students all across the DMV are preparing to walk out of school again Wednesday in support of gun control.
Montgomery County students have been particularly active in their efforts to organize pro-gun control events.
A group named "MoCo Students for Gun Control", which consists of more than 30 schools from both Montgomery County and D.C., has plans to march to the White House Wednesday as well.
"This is not a movement that is going away any time soon," said Daniel Gelillo, a senior at Richard Montgomery High.
Students told WUSA9 they credit everything from a well-coordinated social media effort to their parents for their success bringing attention to the gun control issue so far.
