VIDEO: People run from Metro platform during deadly shooting at Metro Center

The crowds of people waiting on the platform can be seen running away, while some people can be seen hiding to the side to avoid being run over by the fleeing crowd.

WASHINGTON — Editor's Note: In the video above, WUSA9 edited three camera angles released from Metro Transit Police. Portions have been cut for time.

Surveillance videos showing hundreds of people running from a Metro platform after an off-duty FBI agent shot a man at Metro Center have been released by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).

The shooting started as an fight between the off-duty FBI Special Agent and another man, later identified as 28-year-old Troy Bullock of Southeast D.C. After the shooting, officials claimed Bullock and the unidentified officer got into an altercation, before going over a nearby wall, falling eight feet. The struggle reportedly continued after the two fell, and shortly afterward, the agent shot Bullock, police said.

In the videos posted to Twitter Friday afternoon, hundreds of people can be seen waiting on the train platform. While there is no sound in the video, at around 33 seconds in, the crowds of people waiting on the platform can be seen running away while some people can be seen hiding to the side to avoid being run over by the fleeing crowd.

In a second video also posted by WMATA, you can see the beginning of the fight and the moment the pair go over the wall and fall eight feet, other people walk up to look over the wall afterward. The second video also does not have sound but you can see people on the platform running while some attempt to bang on the Red Line train's doors to try to get inside.

A third angle shows the agent and the Bullock talking to each other before the pair begin shoving each other and eventually go over the wall.

No footage showing the two men after they fall, or the shooting itself, has been released.

WMATA commended the rail operator in the first tweet, saying they saw the incident unfold and made the decision to bypass the station in order to keep customers safe.

Lisa Mae Crawford was onboard that Red Line train. She screamed for everyone to get down when she heard the shooting.

"I saw all of these people running. People were like running, people were falling down," Crawford said. "I saw and I reacted, I just started screaming, everybody get down!"

Those screams had many of her fellow passengers later praising her and calling her a hero on social media.

"I was like, 'Child, I am not a hero.' I wasn't thinking anything else but that we all got safe."

The off-duty FBI agent was taken to an area hospital following the shooting with minor injuries. Their identity has not been released. There is no word at this time on what led to the original altercation.

Following the shooting, the FBI released a Twitter statement saying the shooting was under review.

"The #FBI Washington Field Office is cooperating with @DCPoliceDept  to investigate an agent-involved shooting that occurred at Metro Center at approximately 6:39 p.m. on December 7 ... The FBI takes any shooting incident involving our agents or task force members seriously. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division."

On Thursday, the FBI said the agent was still in the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, They said they couldn't comment further due to the ongoing investigation.

According to Metro Transit Police, DC Police is handling the investigation from their end. When asked if they had any further updates on the shooting, or if the officer involved was being charged, DC Police said they had nothing new to report at the time.
