Crews battle 2-alarm fire at warehouse in Upper Marlboro

Officials said the fire caused parts of the building to collapse, but no one was injured.

A two-alarm fire broke out at a warehouse in Upper Marlboro early Saturday Morning. 

Around 7:30 a.m. The Prince George’s County Fire Department said they responded to B&K Rental at 12601 Old Marlboro Pike for the report of a fire. 

Officials said the fire caused parts of the building to collapse, but no one was injured.

Deputy Fire Chief Brian Frankle said crews will continue working throughout the night. Investigators said the fire caused an estimated $1.5 million in damages.

B&K Rental specializes in temporary seating, bleachers and scaffolding, according to Prince George’s County fire officials. 

There is still no word on what caused the fire at this time.
