The 9WEATHER NOW
Hurricane Tracker allows you to follow the path of the most
destructive storms on the planet from your computer. The program has tracks of historic storms
from both the Atlantic and Pacific basins. Hurricane Isabel in September
of 2003 was the worst storm to hit the area since 1933. You can follow
the path of Isabel as she traveled from the Atlantic Ocean to the United
States. Remember Agnes in 1972? Agnes produced massive flooding in the
Metro Area as up to 12 inches of rain fell in a twenty four hour period.
This program will allow you to see the path of Agnes from its birth in
the Yucatan to its first landfall in the Florida panhandle to its final
landfall over the New York City area. Of course, you can also track Katrina,
Rita, and the other devastating storms of 2005. You can even compare paths
of more than one storm at a time.
When new storms form, updates will be provided automatically along with instructions. Best of all, it's FREE.
