
WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- A 9-year-old boy was shot and killed inside an apartment Saturday night in NW Washington, DC.
DC Police Chief Cathy Lanier said the boy was struck when a shot was fired through the door of an apartment in the 3000 block of 14th Street at Columbia Road, NW, at about 9:40 p.m.
The boy's identity was not released.
Several suspects are in custody, Chief Lanier said.
