Washington Redskins practice squad offensive lineman Kiliona E. Lefotu was arrested late Friday after a dispute at a Loudoun County restaurant.
Kraig Troxell, a spokesman for the county sheriff, says Lefotu was involved in a dispute where he was accused of shoving a restaurant patron.
The 23-year-old Lefotu is being held in the Loudoun County detention center and has been charged with being drunk in public, destruction of property and simple assault.
As a member of the practice squad, a Redskins spokesman told A.P. that Lefotu would not have traveled with the team for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
