WASHINGTON, DC (dc.momslikeme.com) - - Our DC.Momslikeme.com Mother's Day Makeover contest winner got a whole new look Thursday morning live on 9NEWS NOW. Peggy Fox, our momlikeme.com site host, made the transformation happen, along with her team of experts.
The winner is Deidree Bennett of Rockville and she deserves it. It's been a rough year for Deidree, because she's been receiving treatment for lymphedema, a condition which causes swelling to her legs. Deidree hasn't been able to wear a dress since Junior High because of the condition.Erwin Gomez did makeup and Valerie Lafaye did her hair. I picked out the clothes and got the entire outfit for under $100 at Target. That included her dress, bag and shoes!
Now that she is madeover, Deidree is off to lunch at the Four Seasons hotel as part of her prize.
