FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Free-Lance Star reports that a man is accused of biting off his friend's ear and tossing it onto Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County during an argument.
According to the newspaper, drivers on I-95 on Saturday morning called authorities saying that a man, with blood running down his shoulder, was running in and out of traffic near the 121 mile marker.
The newspaper reports that deputies found the man on the right shoulder of the southbound lane of the interstate near the 123 mile marker. The man's entire ear was reportedly missing.
The man told police that he had an argument with a friend in the car and then his friend "bit his ear off and threw it out in the road," reports the Free-Lance Star.
Deputies found and stopped the friend's car about a mile away, according to the newspaper. Thirty-one-year-old Floyd Warren of New York was charged with malicious wounding, reported the newspaper.
As for the victim's ear, police found it on the shoulder of the southbound lane of I-95 after the victim described where Warren allegedly threw it out the window. Medical staff were attempting to reattach the ear at Mary Washington Hospital at last check, reports the newspaper.
