He loves spending time with his friends, playing golf, and now he just happens to works side by side with Governor Larry Hogan as a student representative, fighting for student rights.

He was appointed by the governor to the position a few weeks ago. His official title is Student Regent Designee (on University System of Maryland, Board of Regents).

"I was kind of shocked," said Frazier.

At first shocked, but now ready to get to work. He is just one of three young people, all from Prince George's County, chosen to serve in the most powerful student positions in the state.

"It's incredible," said Frazier.

A 2015 graduate from Bowie University, Frazier said, he wants to show Prince George's County's students that anything is possible, if you work hard in school and set goals for yourself.

"Being a former student in Prince George's County, we get a lot of negative press. We go through a lot of negative things but you got to get through it," said Frazier.

Frazier said he is inspired by student movements all across the country, including the young students at Parkland standing up for gun reform.
