CAMP SPRINGS, Maryland — Police in Prince George's County are investigating a homicide after finding a man dead on the sidewalk in Camp Springs.
Police said officers responded to the 5400 block of Morris Avenue around 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday for a welfare check call.
When they got there, they found a man lying outside on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Tuesday afternoon, police identified the victim as 28-year-old Rufus Clark of 23rd Parkway in Temple Hills. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
