WASHINGTON — DC police are investigating a shooting after officers found a man shot on Girard Street NW in Columbia Heights.
Police said the man was actually shot on the 2900 block of 14th Street NW and ran from the scene into a residential area.
The man was conscious when he was taken to the hospital.
No word yet on what injuries he had at the time.
Police are searching for a black male with a light complexion who is about 6-feet-tall. He has dreadlocks and tattoos and was wearing dark colored clothing riding a black bike.
