Cherry Blossom pop-up bar returns to DC

The pub features floral accents, a ramen room and cocktails that reflect Japanese culture.

WASHINGTON — The 2019 National Cherry Blossom Festival spans four weeks and includes dozens of events, ranging from bike tours, Japanese cuisine and even a parade.

One of these events features an adult-only pop-up bar created by The Drink Company.

This floral pub is decorated in blossom decor and features a ramen room in, partnership with Hiro Mitsui, who is the chef behind the Union Market food stall Ramen by UZU.

The cocktails being served reflect Japanese culture, as does the art portrayed in the space. The pup opened February 28, and will remain open through April 21, and is located at 1843 7th St. Northwest.
