Presenting the kids with bikes gives them an alternative to staying inside and gives them a lifelong activity, said Steve Andruski, President of Rockville Bike Hub.

The Rockville Bike Hub is an organization that helps members of the community by donating unwanted bicycles to the needy and providing bike maintenance and repairs.

The organization said the goal is to educate community members about the benefits of biking, enhances the health of the community and helps the environment by promoting bike transportation.
