West of I-95 and DC, Friday will be a breezy, cloudy and cool day. Isolated showers are possible, mainly along I-95.
East of I-95 across southern Maryland and part of the northern neck, some impacts will be felt from Dorian. Friday will be breezy to windy with cloudy skies and showers likely. Some tidal flooding is possible, both Friday and also Saturday after Dorian has passed. Gusts will generally be 20 - 35 mph.
For the lower Chesapeake Bay and Delmarva, moderate impacts can be expected. Rain is likely, some is heavy. Winds could reach tropical storm force, with gusts 35 to 60 mph. Some coastal flooding is likely. Beach erosion is likely. Rip currents will be a high risk ahead, during and after Dorian.
