WASHINGTON — A strong cold front has arrived bringing cooler air to the region. Light showers linger after the cold front and will end Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday Mid-Day 11 AM - 2 PM
Gradually showers begin to taper off from northwest to southeast. For Leesburg, Gaithersburg and northwest, the afternoon looks dry. Southeast of DC, showers linger but they will be overall much lighter than in the morning.
Tuesday Late Day After 2 PM
The last of the showers exit the northern neck and southern Maryland in the afternoon. D.C. is dry, but clouds will be stubborn to clear early. Temps stay cool in the 70s.
