WASHINGTON — Labor Day is upon us and millions of Americans will be hitting the roads or taking to the skies for the unofficial last weekend of summer.

Here's the travel forecast over the next 7 days.

Worth watching, pay attention to updates on the forecast this week near the southeast and Florida and the track of Dorian.

Closer to the DC area and the Mid-Atlantic, we're expecting dry travel weather Friday and Saturday. Some showers return Sunday into Labor Day.

For area beaches on Delmarva, afternoon temperatures over the holiday weekend will run in the 70s and 80s with some showers at the tail end of the weekend.
