We're in for a nice night and a pleasant Monday ahead of the next batch of showers that is expected late Monday night and most of Tuesday. This looks like a more typical weather maker and not a repeat of the deluge of last week. Our Next Yellow Weather Alert will be Tuesday -- numerous showers and a few t-storms are expected. Showers will impact both the morning and evening commutes, so plan on giving yourself extra time to get to and from work. An additional 1/2" to 1" will be possible on average through Wednesday.

Although the first half of next week will include afternoon showers and t-storms, it will not be as soggy as the past 7 days.
