FORECAST: Bright but breezy Friday

We're tracking a few showers Saturday, but a mostly dry weekend ahead.

WASHINGTON — It will be a nice day for outdoor plans, but you'll notice some breezy wind.

Quick Forecast:
Friday: Mostly sunny and windy. Highs: 62.
Friday Night:  Breezy and colder. Low: 43.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy and mild with a few showers. High: 65.

Friday will feature mostly sunny skies and milder temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. Wind will occasionally gust 30 - 35 mph throughout the afternoon. Winds will diminish throughout the evening and be much calmer by the weekend.

Saturday will start off with some sunshine before clouds return by late morning/early afternoon. While the first half of Saturday will be dry, plan on scattered showers throughout the late afternoon and evening hours.

Friday: Mostly sunny, windy and seasonal. Highs: 58 - 63. Winds: NW 15 - 25 +.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy and cold again. Lows: 34 - 42.  Winds: NW 10. 
Saturday: Mostly cloudy and mild with a few showers. Highs: 61 - 66. Winds: NW/SW 10 - 15.

Look for a few clouds on Easter Sunday, with dry conditions for Easter Egg Hunts and Sunday services. Highs will climb to the upper 60s to the low 70s.  By later Sunday night, rain will be moving in ahead of a soggy start to next week.

Sunday (Easter): Partly sunny and warmer with some p.m. clouds and a chance of showers by evening. Highs: 68 - 73.
Monday: Mostly cloudy and cooler with showers. Highs: 56 - 61.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and not as cool with showers. Highs: 64 - 69.
Wednesday: AM showers followed by PM clearing and comfortable. Highs: 60 - 65.
