FORECAST DISCUSSION

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 PM tonight. We're tracking scattered to numerous storms through the evening and early tonight. Some could turn strong or severe with damaging winds and hail. Storms will bring locally heavy rain which could lead to flash flooding as well. Not everyone will get a storm, but there will be plenty of storms to impact the PM commute.

A front remain stalled to our north, leaving the unsettled pattern in place most of the week. Through Thursday, 1 to 3 inches of rain is likely, with localized areas picking up more than 4 inches. The pattern repeats itself on Wednesday again with another round of showers and storms. Some will be heavy again. Critical timing is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The pattern repeats for one more day Thursday with late day storms, some of which could be strong/severe and also very heavy.
