A summer-like pattern has set up and we'll see it continue through Monday with highs in the upper 80s and a threat for afternoon storms.

A seasonal blue moon happened Saturday night. Here's what that means.

Sunday will be hotter than Saturday with scattered showers and storms, mostly between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Any storm that pops up will fade away after sunset and a  few storms could be strong to severe. Highs will be in the mid 80s to lower 90s.  Monday will see highs well into the 80s with isolated PM showers and storms.

EXTENDED FORECAST
Monday's forecast calls for a few storms as a front passes through, but the weather drys out cools down by Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday will be in the low to mid 70s, ample sunshine, and low humidity will make Tuesday the nicest day of the week! If you like summer heat, get ready for it. Heat builds again toward the second half of the of the work week, and we'll likely have our first 90 degree day of the year!

Early outlook for Memorial Day weekend looks hot with a few storms each afternoon.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Low humidity. Highs in the low to mid 70s.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy and warmer. Highs around 80.
Thursday: Partly cloudy and hot with an isolated shower/storm possible. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Friday: Partly cloudy and hot. Highs in the low 90s.
