WASHINGTON — Extra clouds and mainly dry Thursday, followed by some sunshine Friday. Temperatures in the cool low and middle 60s both days.

Although winds will be calm Thursday, DMV residents should expect significantly cooler high temperatures in the afternoon, only in the upper 50s and low 60s. There will also be more clouds Thursday. Thursday night will turn cold again with lows in the 30s and 40s. Some frost is possible north and west of D.C. Although it may be tempting to do some spring planting, it's best to wait a few more weeks.

Sunday, skies will break out into a mix of clouds and sunshine, and temperatures will bump up significantly into the low 80s.
Expect the touch of summertime to stay well into next week, too, with highs remaining at least in the low and middle 80s!
