Turning Up The Heat- July 15, 2019
WUSA Weather

EXTENDED FORECAST:
By Thursday, the remnants of Barry get pulled up into a frontal system. This moisture increases our storm chances across the D.C.-area. The big weather story heading into the weekend will be high heat and humidity.

Temps Friday through the weekend will be in the mid to upper 90s with the heat index above 100 degrees each afternoon.  Heat Advisories and/or Heat Warnings are likely.

With several days of prolonged heat and overnight lows potentially not getting below 80 degrees in D.C. and some other areas, this type of heat can have some serious health risks for those without access to air conditioning.
