FORECAST DISCUSSION

The stormy and unsettled pattern is with us again Tuesday with another round of showers and storms with heavy rain and gusty winds. The day starts mostly dry but humid.

Scattered storms develop in the afternoon, mostly after 2 p.m. Storms will continue to expand in coverage an intensify around the evening commute. Expect locally heavy rain and a few storms could turn strong or severe with damaging winds and hail. Not everyone will get a storm, but there will be enough storms to impact many people's evening commutes.

A front remain stalled to our north, leaving the unsettled pattern in place most of the week. Through Thursday, 1 to 3 inches of rain is likely, with localized areas picking up more than 4 inches. The pattern repeats itself on Wednesday again with another round of showers and storms.
