A hot, humid, and summer-like finish to the first weekend of summer and some storms have fired up ahead of a cold front. A few of these storms could become strong/severe with gusty winds and hail. In addition, storms will contain locally heavy rain and lightning. The overall timing for storms is between now and 7 PM. After then, the storm threat will quiet down as we lose daytime heating and the front passes through.

Humidity and temps drop for Monday and Tuesday with highs in the low to mid 80s, lots of sunshine, and morning lows Tuesday in the upper 50s in the burbs! Both days will be mostly to partly sunny and stay rain-free. We finish the week much hotter with highs in the low to mid 90s starting Thursday and continuing into next weekend.
