FORECAST DISCUSSION:

The last of the showers exit this evening. There still are several creek and stream flood warnings. River flooding is also a concern along the Potomac into early in the week after the weekend's heavy rain.

Clouds decrease overnight. Some sunshine returns along with pleasant temps in the 50s for Monday. Dry weather prevails through Wednesday with temperatures hovering near average in the mid 40s to around 50.

The next big weather system arrives late Thursday, bringing with it more showers and periods of rain.
