Tractor trailer crash caused delays on I-95 northbound lanes

Both vehicles caught on fire in the crash. All lanes reopened around 8 a.m. Thursday.

LAUREL, Md. — The northbound lanes of I-95 were backed up in Laurel due to a two-vehicle crash. All lanes reopened around 8 a.m. Thursday.

Around 3:45 a.m., a disabled vehicle in the middle of the road was hit by a tractor trailer, officials said. Both vehicles caught on fire. Fire crews were at the scene working on putting out the flames.
