Northbound I-95 lanes reopened in Stafford County, overturned dump truck removed

The truck apparently flipped under the Truslow Road overpass due to clearance.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Lanes were shut down on northbound Interstate 95 in Stafford County for several hours Tuesday afternoon due to an overturned truck, according to Stafford County Fire and Rescue.

The truck apparently flipped under the Truslow Road overpass due to clearance around 1 p.m. At least one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

It is unclear if any other vehicles were impacted due to the overturned truck incident, but traffic backups stretched for several miles as the congestion worked to clear.

All lanes were reopened shortly after 5 p.m.
