The therapy of sharing your darkest secrets

You can share your secret and still be anonymous

For a decade, people have been telling Frank Warren, the founder of PostSecret their deepest, darkest secrets. He, in turn, shares them with us. And people are happy to share with him! It started in Washington, DC with 3,000 postcards. He passed them out asking people to be creative and send him their deep secrets.

More than a million people did and their secrets have been made into six books, a TEDTalk, a 23-city theatrical event and several museum exhibits including the Smithsonian and the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. Anyone can share but there are rules:

  1. It must be true
  2. It must be a secret you have never told anyone
