Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice Kevin Donahue posted his own "sick note" to Twitter that invited Caps fans to insert their names and let their employer know they were busy Rocking the Red "past a reasonable hour."

It's signed "DC government," so it seems pretty legit, right?
It even has an addition that states you will also be "sick" during the victory which is projected to take place next week.
The Caps historically won the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday night, narrowly defeating the Las Vegas Knights 4-3.
