Roldan now lives in North Carolina. According to the Fayettesville Observer, Roldan shot his girlfriend in the head and forearm during a domestic dispute last November. Roldan is now charged with attempted murder.

The girlfriend in that incident, Vickey Iarussi Willoughby, told spoke to Dr. Phil on Tuesday. She told him that she was hiding two guns for her protection the night she was shot in the face. She also said that she believes Roldan had a role in the disappearance of Decker.

"After Ronald had moved in, he would randomly bring up Bethany," Willoughby told Dr. Phil "And Ronald just told me how he could make people disappear. I'm 100 percent sure that Ronald is very much part of Bethany's disappearance."

Willoughby also expressed regret that she had not searched Roldan's name before they started dating so that she would have known about his connection to Decker's disappearance.

Loudoun County Sheriff's Office authorities say Roldan remains a person of interest in the case.
