GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Tuesday night at 10, a security expert tells us which is safer, paying with your phone, or using a credit card.

Whether it's Apple, Google or Samsung Pay, paying with your phone is all the rage right now.

Just wave it across a scanner and you're good to go.

But is it secure?

Many online claim it's actually more secure than your credit card.

To help us verify if this is true, we reached out to Evan Francen, a cybersecurity expert and CEO of FRSecure, one of the nation's top security companies.

Francen says "it's absolutely true."

Tuesday at 10, learn how paying with your phone really works.
