WASHINGTON — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the 'racially charged' online threat against Charlottesville City Schools, police said.
The teen was charged with, "Threats to commit serious bodily harm to persons on school property," and, "Harassment by Computer," according to a Charlottesville Police Department release.
Police were notified of the threat late Wednesday, and closed schools Thursday and Friday.
"We are in this together, and a threat against one is a threat against all," school officials said.
