Latino Victory Fund is inviting the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates to San Juan, Puerto Rico to speak at a forum ahead of the primaries next year.

The fund is a political action committee working to grow Latino political power and representation in government "from the school board to the Senate to the White House," per their website.

At a January committee event in San Juan, many attendees criticized President Donald Trump's response to the damage caused by Hurricane Maria, the 2017 hurricane that caused at least 3,000 deaths and $100 billion in damage.

The fund has previously called on presidential candidates to visit Puerto Rico and vow to make recovery efforts a priority.
