Police find critically missing woman who may have been abducted in Norfolk, Va

UPDATE: Norfolk Police say they have safely located Ms. Oliver.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Virginia State Police have issued a critically missing adult alert for a 24-year-old woman who they say may have been abducted in Norfolk.  The alert was issued on behalf of the Norfolk Police Department. 

Police believe Olivia Oliver was abducted by Malik E. Fortes at the Shell Gas Station at 500 North Military Highway in Norfolk on Wednesday. 

Olivia Oliver is described in a police report as a white female with brown eyes and black hair. She is 5-foot-8 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and gray jeans with black boots and a yellow jacket with fur around the hood. 

Authorities say the possible suspect, Fortes, is described as a 6-foot-3 black male weighing 150 pounds. Fortes was seen wearing black jeans, black sneakers and a black hoodie with “Carhartt” written on the left sleeve in white letters. 

Officials said the two were last seen in a black 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with VA plates: UWK-6368. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Olivia Oliver and Malik E. Fortes should call Norfolk police at 757-664-7023 or dial 911 from the city of Norfolk.
