ROCKVILLE, Md. —

Montgomery County police released photos of a man they believe inappropriately touched a five-year-old girl at a library in Rockville Saturday.

Around 6 p.m. Saturday, police said the suspect approached the girl in the children’s section, pulled down her pants and touched her inappropriately in the children’s section of the Rockville Memorial Library. The child screamed and went to tell her parents who called police.

Officials reviewed surveillance from the library where they saw a man lingering around the children’s section for about a half hour before the incident. Police said they are now considering this man a person of interest in this case and are releasing his photos to the public.

Anyone with information about this crime or information about the male in the photographs is asked to call detectives at 240-773-5448.
