WASHINGTON -- Inside Capital One Arena, more than 10,000 fans gathered to watch Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

And right from the get-go, the building was louder than where the Washington Capitals were actually playing against the Lightning in Tampa Bay.

One minute in, our guy, Alex Ovechkin, swung the momentum in the Caps' favor.

The team withstood a barrage of chances from Tampa, but never looked back, adding two more goals on Lightning mistakes and "Cap"-ping it off with an empty net goal late in the 3rd.

And just like that, the DC curse was broken, and the Caps are back in the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1998, with a chance to win their first ever Cup.

But that's not why you clicked into this story - you clicked in to bask in the glory of the win that was Game 7, alongside those 10,000 screaming fans. Watch the video player above, and check out some of the embedded videos below from our Facebook page to relive the exhilarating night.
