ARLINGTON, Va. — A woman has died after being struck with a tree limb in Arlington County Thursday afternoon.
The woman was walking along a path in Lucky Run Park around 1:45 p.m. when a limb from an 80-foot oak tree fell and struck her, a press release said.
Firefighters responded and transported her to a local hospital with serious injuries. She was later pronounced dead.
Arlington County is investigating this incident.
