Arlington Fire: No injuries following a Saturday morning propane tank leak

Officials said a large propane tank was found leaking at a building under construction.

ARLINGTON -- Arlington County Fire Department said they are investigating a large propane leak on Fairfax Drive on Saturday.

Officials arrived to the 4000 block of Fairfax Drive just before noon for reports of an odor. 

When Hazmat and the fire department arrived to the scene, they located a large propane tank leaking at a building under construction. 

Arlington Fire said the leak has been contained and the air is currently being monitored. 

Fire officials said there were no injuries or evacuations during the incident.

Several roadways will be shut down in the area for a unknown period of time.
